Meet Elysa
Hi, I’m Elysa. I'm a Registered Early Childhood Educator who has spent over 10 years guiding children in early learning environments. I’ve always believed that children thrive when they feel safe enough to explore, confident enough to try, and proud enough to express who they are.
As I grew older, I realized that not every child receives the kind of support that honours who they are as individuals. That understanding has shaped my passion for creating spaces where children can move, create, imagine, and learn in the ways that feel natural and exciting to them.
Spark of Light was created to offer children that kind of freedom.
A warm and joyful environment where learning is hands-on, bodies are allowed to wiggle, curiosity leads the way, and every child’s inner spark is celebrated.
I care deeply about nurturing confidence, emotional awareness, independence, and connection because these are the skills that help children shine in every area of their life.

Our workshops weave together arts & crafts, jewellery making, science, building, movement, and storytelling to support children in discovering what lights them up while building confidence, connection, and problem-solving skills.

Workshops Offered
At Spark of Light, each workshop invites children to explore, create, and grow through joyful, play-based learning.
Every session has a theme — with plenty of room for imagination, choice, and discovery.
Activities are thoughtfully guided to introduce new skills while keeping creativity, curiosity, and connection at the heart of every experience.
Arts & Crafts
Create. Imagine. Express.
A day for imagination to flow freely. Children experiment with painting, sculpting, crafting, and creative materials to express their ideas and bring colourful creations to life.
Movement
Move. Groove. Shine.
Through dance, and playful movement, children connect to their bodies, build coordination, and express themselves with joy and confidence. Movement activities help support emotional regulation, grounding, and positive energy release.
Drama & Storytelling
Pretend. Perform. Connect.
Children explore imagination through drama games, puppetry, role-play, and storytelling — building empathy, expression, teamwork, and confidence while bringing stories to life.
Jewellery Making
Design. Create. Celebrate.
Children explore colours, patterns, and personal expression as they design and create their own bracelets. Through beading and hands-on crafting, they develop fine motor skills, focus, creativity, and a sense of pride in making something uniquely their own.
